NaturalAFRO HAIR TO CURLS (pics available)?

i changed my dress code so i can`t no longer wear hats as am suppose to wear close-to-suites type of dressing to work as well

anyway am afro latin my hair is just natural afro but shiner so what i want to ask is this

1)How can I achieve this (if i cut down my hair to that size)

2)If i don`t cut it what can i put in to achieve this

the last person isn`t his natural hair

tell me the chemicals i can use to get my hair some curls (Not s-curl please cos my hair is long for s-curl)

i`m a dude by the way and please don`t tell me to go to saloon cos i live in a non-afro community

please note my hiar is a little bit shorter than those last two

2) pomade or something similar; maybe a curling iron or perm rods and a teezer comb

3) same as 2) but with out the teezer comb

do you have a mother or sister near you because i don't think you'd be able to do it yourself in the back?
