Clip in hair extensions?

I bought some clip in hair extensions, my natural hair is just past my sholders. But when I put the hair extensions in you can tell that I have got them in as you can see where my natural hair ends and the extensions finish (not because of colour) does anyone have any tips on how to put them in? Maybe Im dong something wrong, but I dont seem to be. Caz xxx

You should have bought a higher quality extension, one that doesn't look so fake.

I guess it depends on the extension, too. I have clip on extensions that I just clip onto my ponytail and sort of "replace" the pony tail so they don't have the obvious contrast with my real hair.
