My hair is natually dirty blonde, but i've been dying it since i was little, but now i dyed it

recently and its all faded and ugly, i want my natural hair color back, but my hair stylist said that i cant just dye it from dark to light, i would have to bleach my hair and then dye it dirty blonde, which would make my hair fall out. is there any other way to naturally make my hair go back to dark blonde?

It depends on how damaged your hair is now. Once when I was 19 I decided to go from blond to very dark brown - BIG mistake. I tried to strip it myself and it actually came out orange. I had a stylist fix it for me - but my hair did not fall out - I had to massively condition it all the time because it was brittle. Be careful. You can do it - but you will be dealing with very fragile hair for a while.

Your hair dresser is right. If you were using a permanent hair dye, you will have to let it grow out, In the mean time, use a semi or demi permanent hair dye for your roots. Then just let your color fade when its has grown out the length you want. Keep in mind this will not happen over night. In the mean time conditioner is the key to keeping it looking good. You might try a hair conditioning mask or I like to use Doves 3-minute treatment for colored hair at least once a week.

No I'm sorry to say there is not. Your stylist told you right. I've been doing hair for over thirty years. And whether you want to believe it or not. It's the only way except to let it grow out and put up with roots until all the color is cut off.

DO NOT BLEACH IT!!! Trust me, I've bleached mine about 3 times, worst mistake. My hair is soo damaged. Just let it grow out, or something.
